Web design, web site, home page, web presence, blogs, forums, SEO, graphics, corporate identity, logos, accessibility, standards, presentation, semantics.... All these and countless others are part of a dynamic, flowing, growing, moving conglomeration of technology and people also known as the World Wide Web.
Under its bright and clicky surface lurks a myriad of technologies: (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, SQL, Apache, DNS and countless other components. For the normal end user these can quickly become an overwhelming obstacle in the quest for a successful and effective web presence. Yet, there is one life form that moves with ease through this morass, who is at home in this digital obstacle course, who can tame and control these binary monsters. This life form is a web designer and you have entered the lair of one of the best.
A web designer is a unique animal: Two parts artist, one part programmer, one part administrator. Sightings of a truly rounded web designer are rare, though their work can be seen on the domains of the world's most successful companies (this is no coincidence).
